Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

Mount Everest, or Sagar Matha is a large part of the holiday Nepal. Always on the horizon when you’re trekking in Nepal and people can only visit Nepal to climb Everest Base Camp.

The frozen body of British climber George Mallory was discovered near the summit of Mount Everest in 1999, 75 years after his death. Mallory’s body had been there since 1924 and we’ll never know, but hope that he, or his climbing partner Andrew Irvine, had reached the summit before they died. Mallory’s famous answer to the question of why he had the desire to climb Everest was simply “because it’s there!”

The famous New Zealander Edmund Hillary participated in an expedition of exploration in 1951 and 1952 Sherpa climber Tenzing Norgay set out with a Swiss expedition reached a massive 7500m. It was in 1953 that a British expedition established both Tenzing and Hillary atop the mighty peak.

Why is it so expensive Summer Camp

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

If the word “accessible” does not come to mind when thinking about a summer camp, you’re not alone. Sending their children to Sleepaway camp for just a few weeks could run several thousand dollars or more. But the good news is that there is a field for all budgets. You do not have to break the bank for your child to enjoy a great camping experience, and a field of less expensive, does not necessarily mean a low quality campYou may be wondering whether to send their child to camp worth the price.

And by the way, why so difficult? In general, summer camps have high operating costs that must be met in order to maximize your child’s safety and fun. When you pay a little more to the field, the field can be extremely selective in hiring personnel and pay their camp counselors more than they would in other places besides allowing the field to buy and share with your child higher-end (better quality) supplies. You team and you can not put a price on safety, supervision and fun for your child! But that’s not all.

We have not even discussed the insurance premiums, transportation, advertising, and many other fields to incur other costs to provide field experience of industry best practices for high child. The cost of raising children is unquestionable, But the documented benefits of field experience are undeniable, too.
